John Guy Sloan 
John Guy was born in 1883. John Guy's father was George Washington Sloan and his mother was Sarah Angaline Dooley. His paternal grandparents were James Guy Sloan and Marthena Sands; his maternal grandparents were James Dooley and Lucinda Key. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Wilshire, James Oliver, Lee Elwood, Archibald, George Washington, Sophia Anna and Mary Blanche. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 53 in 1936.-
