James Oliver Sloan 
James Oliver was born in 1875. James Oliver's father was George Washington Sloan and his mother was Sarah Angaline Dooley. His paternal grandparents were James Guy Sloan and Marthena Sands; his maternal grandparents were James Dooley and Lucinda Key. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Wilshire, Lee Elwood, John Guy, Archibald, George Washington, Sophia Anna and Mary Blanche. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 in 1945.-
