Janette (Jennett) Sloan 
Janette (Jennett) was born on September 6th, 1842. Janette (Jennett)'s father was Benjamin Neal Sloan and her mother was Mary Eads. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Leannah Bolling. She had two brothers named William Harrison and John Eads. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had seven half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Silas W., Winfield Scott, Archibald Franklin, Elmer Elsworth, Edward, Oliver Howard, Haden Finley, Clarissa Ellen, Rebecca Ann, Lidda Martha, Leannah Caroline and Mary Belle. She died at the age of 5 on October 26th, 1847. She was buried in row 13,near Mother,Old Marengo Cemetery.-
