Vachel Shipley

Vachel was born in 1760. Vachel's father was William Shipley and his mother was Rebecca Sellman. His paternal grandparents were Robert Shipley and Elizabeth Stevens; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Lawrence Sellman and Anne Powell. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William, Lloyd, Elijah, Levin, George, Jesse, Patience and Providence. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 69 on October 7th, 1829.
