William Canady Sandage 
William Canady was born on May 11th, 1813 in Perry County,Indiana. William Canady's father was Thomas Sandage and his mother was Nancy Ann Simonson. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Sandage and Mary Canady; his maternal grandparents were Magnus Simonson and Elizabeth--------------. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Nathan, Moses, Thomas, Daniel, Frances, Eleanor and Mary B.. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Jesse, Charles, Elias, Miles, Elihew Halsom, Elijah, Mariah, Esther and Rachel. He died at the age of 77 in 1890 in Perry County,Indiana. He was buried in bu Lilly Dale Cem. Perry County,Indiana.-
