Thomas Sandage 
Thomas was born on March 28th, 1807 in Union County,South Carolina. Thomas' father was Thomas Sandage and his mother was Nancy Ann Simonson. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Sandage and Mary Canady; his maternal grandparents were Magnus Simonson and Elizabeth--------------. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Nathan, Moses, William Canady, Daniel, Frances, Eleanor and Mary B.. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had seven half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Jesse, Charles, Elias, Miles, Elihew Halsom, Elijah, Mariah, Esther and Rachel. He died at the age of 56 in 1863 in Perry County,Indiana.-
