Nathan Sandage 
Nathan was born about 1750. Nathan's father was Unknown (John?) Sandage and his mother was Unknown. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Sandage and Frances Choppell. He was an only child.General Notes
The Sandage family were of Irish descent and natives of South Carolina. They
migrated to Perry County, Indiana 1812 and settled in Tobinnsport Township
and were preceded by only a few families. The country at that time was a
wilderness, wild animals and Indians being every day sights.

Thomas was born on February 9th, 1778 in Union County,South Carolina. He died at the age of 74 on April 18th, 1852 in Anderson Twp.,Perry County,Indiana.
