Nicholas was born on August 8th, 1874 in Franklin County,KY. Nicholas' father was William M. Rodgers and his mother was Louisa Harrod. His paternal grandparents were Nicholas Rodgers and Nancy Rodgers. He had eight brothers and three sisters, named John S., Thomas D., Bourbon C., Franklin, William M. II, Robert Lee, Walter, James Babe, Caroline, Louisa and Molly. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 76 on July 21st, 1951 in Rankfort,Franklin County,KY.-
