Marijtje's baptism took place on April 30th, 1713 in Alphen,Zuid Holland,Netherland.  Marijtje's father was Jan Jansz RAM and her mother was Maritje Jansse SNEL.  Her paternal grandparents were Jan RAM and Marijtje Claasdr VAN DER HOEF. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Jan, Cornelis, Willem Jansz, Jannetje and Maritje Jansse.
