John Pruett 
John was born in 1755 in VA. John's father was William Pruett and his mother was Judith Dudley. His paternal grandparents were Thomas (Sr) Pruett and Mary Magdalene Chastain. He had nine brothers named David, Richard, Willis, Samuel, Obediah, Joshua, Ransom, Dudley and Peter. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 55 in 1810 in Abbysville Co,SC.-
