James4 Pruett 
James4 was born about 1745 in VA. James4's father was Michael (Sr) Pruett and his mother was Elizabeth Simpkins. His paternal grandparents were Andrew Prewitt and Agnes. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Elisha, Byrd, Michael (Jr), Robert, Joseph, Joshua, Judith and Elizabeth (Betsey). He was the oldest of the nine children. He died on January 9th, 1810 in Shelby Co,KY.-
