Elijah Prewit 
Elijah was born in 1790 in Franklin,VA. Elijah's father was Elijah Prewit. His paternal grandfather was *David I Prewitt. He had five brothers and a sister, named Samuel, John, Soloman, Henry, David and Elizabeth. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 40 in 1830 in Madison Co,KY.-
