Thomas H. was born in 1848. Thomas H.'s father was Wesly B. Pierson and his mother was Martha Gallaway. His paternal grandparents were William Pierson and Nancy Fitzsimmons. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James, Benjamin, John M., Mary E., Lucinda and Sarah H.. He was the second youngest of the seven children.-
