Barton Pierson 
Barton was born on December 18th, 1840. Barton's father was Shadrach , Jr. Pierson and his mother was Jane Eastin. His paternal grandparents were Shadrach Pierson and Rachel Clinch. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thaddeus P., James, George William, John Moneta, Bartholomew, Jesse, ?, Drusilla and Margaret. He was the youngest of the ten children.-
