Shadrach Pierson 
Shadrach was born on March 8th, 1754 in Bromfield Parrish,Culpepper,VA. Shadrach's father was Charles Pierson and his mother was Sally Weathers. His paternal grandparents were Michael Pierson and Ann. He had five brothers named Meshack, Abednego, Charles, William and male. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 89 on March 8th, 1843 in Scott County,Indiana. He was buried in Craig Cemetary,Scottsburg,Scott,Indiana.General Notes

Shadrach is mentioned in Mrs. O'Byrne in her book "Roster of Rev. Soldiers". Was captured and his brother Charles was killed. He was taken to Charleston and escaped after 41 days. He went back to his own company and fought in the Battle at Cowpens.

Shadrach Pierson was one of triplets, Shadrach, Mesheck and Abednego Pierson born 1754 in Culpepper County VA.
Meshack and married Mary Jennings had at least 4 children. Abednego was killed somtime around 1773. Shadrach and Meshack and another brother Charles all served in the Rev. War, Charles being killed.

Shadrach and Rachel were married in a religious ceremony on August 23rd, 1781 in St. Mark's Parish,Culpepper,VA. They had six sons and four daughters, named Bartholomew, James Weathers, William C., Shadrach , Jr., George Washington, Henry Clinch, Frances, Nancy, Sally and Casendoneia.
