Burton Northrup 
Burton was born on May 29th, 1803 in Connecticut.1 Burton's father was Abel Gillett Northrup and his mother was Sally Beach. His paternal grandparents were Isaiah Northrup and Mary Hubbell. He had four brothers and a sister, named Burr, Nehemiah Beach, Abel Gillett, Micajah Starr and Polly Jeanette. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 50 on May 7th, 1854 in Perinton,Monroe,New York. He was buried in Greenvale Cemetery,Fairport,Monroe,New York.1 1 General Notes

There is a copy of some genealogical information in my possession giv en to me by David Merle Northrop, a descendant and relation. From th at document is found the following about Burton.
Died ..."leaving one son Micajah Starr of Fairport, N.Y. age 51. H e built a large home on West Church Street in Fairport which is stil l standing. He died in Perinton. ...."
"Burton and Fanny has seven children; four living ...."
"Burton is buried in the Greenvale Cemetery on Church Stree in Fairpo rt, N.Y. Fanny (ed. note: his wife) is buried along side Burton wit h a headstone labeled `Grandmother'. The Greenvale Cemetery was firs t known as the Fairport Burying Ground; later named Fairport Villag e Cemetery then to Greenvale which over looks the Barge Canal."

Fanny Northrop 41 F N.Y.
M. S. Northrop 18 M Boatman N.Y.
Elvina 11 F N.Y.
Esther M. 5 F N.Y.
In the 1850 Census of Burton, M. S. is believed to be Micajah Starr a s noted previously as `leaving one son of Fairport, N.Y.'
In the 1865 Monroe County Census, Fanny was listed as the head of th e household and a landowner with the following lists;

Julie Northrop 30 F dau-in-law
