Isaiah Northrup 
Isaiah was born on April 3rd, 1746 in Monroe(formerly Stratford),Fairfield,Connecticut.1 Isaiah's father was Job Northrup and his mother was Mabel Northrup Mrs.. His paternal grandparents were William Northrup and Mary Peck. He had a brother and five sisters, named Arminall, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Hannah and Naomi. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 71 on August 17th, 1817 in Fairport,Monroe,New York. He was buried in Shummers' Cemetery,Fairport,New York.1 1 General Notes

There is a copy of some genealogical information in my possession giv en to me by David Merle Northrop, a descendant and relation. From th at document is found the following about Isaiah.
"....Removed with his wife and children to the townof Perinton (Fairp ort) Monroe County, N.Y., about 1808 where he resided with his son An drew and died there on 17 Aug 1817 (age 71). He was in the Revolutio nary War.
...Isaiah served as a private in Captain Samuel Clark's Co.; Col. Row ell's (Bershire Co.) Regt. Service at New Haven, Ct. Roll sworn t o at Lanesborough, Mass. He came to Perinton to live with his sons . He died 17 Aug 1817; his wife, Mary died 4 Mar 1817. They both ar e buried at Shummers' Cemetery which was part of the Northrup tract . ... The Northrup tract and cemetery are located west of Fairport , N.Y. on the Fairport-East Rochester Road; in the township of Perint on. The cemetery was originally the Northrop family cemetery and wa s just recently deeded to the township."

Isaiah and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on December 17th, 1767 in Fairfield,Connecticut.1 They had seven sons and six daughters, named Abiah, Abel Gillett, Isaiah, Andrew, Anson, Elijah, Marcenus, Sarah, Hannah, Lucy, Mabel, Polly Ann and Huldah.
