Job Northrup 
Job was born about 1708 in Milford,New Haven,Connecticut.1 Job's father was William Northrup and his mother was Mary Peck. His paternal grandparents were *Joseph , Jr. Northrup and *Mary Norton; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Peck and Mary Richards. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William, Ephraim, Joseph, Thomas, John, Hannah and Ann. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died in Newtown,Fairfield,Connecticut.1 General Notes

There is a copy of some genealogical information in my possession giv en to me by David Merle Northrop, a descendant and relation. From th at document is found the following about Job.
"In Newtown, Conn. records is an entry, `28 Sept 1760, informed of th e death of Job Northrup at Schenectady, N.Y.' Distribution of the est ate of Job Northrup at Brookfield, or Newtown, 11 May 1761. His chil dren; Isaiah, Sarah and Mary chose William Northrup as their guardian , and Mehetabel Northrup was made guardian of the 1three younger'. Q uite likely `Mehetabel' and `Mabel' are the same. This record is i n Danbury, Ct."

Job and Mabel were married in a religious ceremony about 1742.1 They had two sons and five daughters, named Arminall, Isaiah, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Hannah and Naomi.

Isaiah Northrup
Isaiah was born on April 3rd, 1746 in Monroe(formerly Stratford),Fairfield,Connecticut.1 He died at the age of 71 on August 17th, 1817 in Fairport,Monroe,New York. He was buried in Shummers' Cemetery,Fairport,New York.1 1
