II Muncy and *Abigail M. Skidmore; his maternal grandfather was *William Daughtery?. He had seven brothers named Francis, Samuel Jr., William, *Nathaniel Calvin, Obediah, Thomas and Holton. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died before July 1st, 1797 in Wythe,Virginia.-
