*Samuel Sr. was born about 1712 in Kent,Delaware. *Samuel Sr.'s father was *Francis H. II Muncy and his mother was *Abigail M. Skidmore. His paternal grandparents were *John Muncy and *Hannah Brewster; his maternal grandparents were *John Skidmore and *Susanna Davis or Smith. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Francis Jr., John, Thomas, Nathaniel, Belliharen and Hannah. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died after 1786 in Montgomery Co,VA.-
