David Muncy 
David was born on March 10th, 1773 in Russell,VA. David's father was Skidmore Muncy and his mother was Mary Scott. His paternal grandparents were *Samuel Sr. Muncy and *Mary Daughtery or Skidmore?; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Scott and Mrs. Ann Scott. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Jerimiah, John, Zachariah, Margaret, Abigail, Jane, Mary, Rachel and Lydia. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
