Catherine was born on December 31st, 1744 in of,Springfield,Hampden,Massachusetts. Catherine's father was Benjamin Morgan and her mother was Mary Horton. Her paternal grandparents were David Morgan and Mary Clark. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ebenezer, Samuel, Sarah and Chloe.
