Her paternal grandparents were William Morgan Sir Knight and Elsbeth Winter. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named William, John I, John II, Thomas, Edward, Lewis, Trevor, Frances, Catherine, Anne, Rachel, Elizabeth II and Mary.
