Martha Jane MEACHAM 
Martha Jane was born on January 29th, 1852 in Garden Grove,Decatur,Ia. Martha Jane's father was Lewis MEACHAM and her mother was Lydia Knight WELLS. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua MECHAM and Permelia CHAPMAN; her maternal grandparents were Judah WELLS and Temperance MEACHAM. She had six brothers and seven sisters, named Mosiah, Joshua Josiah, Brigham, Lewis, Jonathon James, Judah, Emeline, Margaret Maria, Elmira Ann, Melissa, Lydia Knight, Samantha Louisa and Sarah Temperance. She was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 75 on April 8th, 1927 in Vernal,Uintah,Ut. She was buried in April 1927 in Vernal,Uintah,Ut.General Notes
