Dudley Leavitt SR. 
Dudley was born on August 31st, 1830 in Hatley,Lower Quebec,Canada and his baptism took place on November 3rd, 1827 in Compton,Compton,Quebec,Canada. Dudley's father was Jeremiah Leavitt and his mother was Sarah Sturdevant. His maternal grandparents were Lemuel (Don) Sturtevant and Priscilla Thomson. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Jeremiah, Weire, Wier, Lemuel Sturdevant, Sturtevant (Or Studevant), Thomas Rowell, Mary Ann, Clarissa, Louisa, Betsy Jane and Sarah Priscilla. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 78 on October 15th, 1908 in Bunkerville,Clark,NV. He was buried on October 16th, 1908 in Bunkerville,Clark,NV.General Notes
