Edward was born in of Muckross,Killarney,Kerry,Ireland. Edward's father was Edward Herbert and his mother was Frances Browne. His paternal grandparents were Edward Herbert and Agnes Crosbie. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, Nicholas, Arabella, Catherine, Frances, Thomasina, Agnes and Helena. He died on March 2nd, 1770.General Notes
