James Hampton 
James was born on September 30th, 1723 in New Kent Co,VIrginias. James' father was John Hampton Jr and his mother was Margaret Wade. His paternal grandparents were Capt John Hampton and Mary Mann; his maternal grandfather was James Wade. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named John Wade, Richard, William, Henry, John, Thomas, Anthony, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret and Rosamond. He died after September 16th, 1796 in Stokes Co,North Carolinia.General Notes
