John HOLDEN

John was born in 1785 and his baptism took place on November 7th, 1785 in ,Bolton,Lancashire,England.  John's father was James HOLDEN and his mother was Margaret Mrs MASON.  His paternal grandparents were James HOLDEN and Margaret FLITCROFT; his maternal grandparents were William SLATER and Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Joseph, Richard, Joseph, Oliver, Ann, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 13 on October 9th, 1798.
