George HOLDEN 
George was born in 1820 and his baptism took place on August 11th, 1820 in Euxton,Lancs,England. George's father was James HOLDEN and his mother was Margaret SLATER. His paternal grandparents were James HOLDEN and Margaret Mrs MASON; his maternal grandparents were William SLATER and Elizabeth WILLIAMSON. He had six brothers and fourteen sisters, named John, James, Thomas, James, George, William, Jenny, Betty, Sarah, Alice, Elizabeth, Mary, Ann, Martha, Margaret, Ann, Mary, Sarah, Martha and Alice. He was the second youngest of the twenty-one children. He died at the age of 55 in 1875.General Notes
