Maria Gentry 
Maria was born in 1835. Maria's father was Samuel Gentry and her mother was Abigail Powers. Her paternal grandparents were Matthew Gentry and Elizabeth Cook; her maternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George, James, John, William, Samuel, Hannah, Emeline and Nancy. She was the third oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 14 on September 15th, 1849. She was buried in Gentry Cem. next to sister Emeline.-
