David Gentry 
David was born in 1714. David's father was Samuel Gentry and his mother was Ann Allen. His paternal grandfather was Nicholas Gentry. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Nicholas, Allen, Joseph, Simon, Richard, William, Samuel, Ann and Polly Elizabeth. He died in Johnston County,North Carolina.
David and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony about 1735. They had nine sons named William, Hezekiah, Elisha, Elijah, Nicholas, David, John, Simon and Allen Cain.
