William Finley 
William was born on October 4th, 1773 in Mt. Joy,Adams,Pennslvania. William's father was Michael Finley and his mother was Mary Waugh. His paternal grandparents were William O'Neil Finley and Cathrine Culbertson. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, Michael, Mary, Catherine, Esther and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 74 on December 19th, 1847 in Lexington,Rockbridge,Virginia.-
