John Finley 
John was born on June 8th, 1579 in St Andrews,Newburn Parish,Balchristie,Fife. John's father was James Finley and his mother was Elizabeth Warrender. His paternal grandparents were Andrew H. Finlay and Janet Jonet Hayes; his maternal grandparents were William Warrender and Christian Arbuthnott. He had four brothers and a sister, named Andrew, William, James, Alexander and Christina. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 91 on October 6th, 1670.-
