Amanda M. was born on May 20th, 1846 in Rosedale,Madison,Ohio. Amanda M.'s father was John Horner Finley and her mother was Martha Ann Ruff. Her paternal grandparents were William Finley and Margaret Horner. She had six brothers and two sisters, named John R., William A., Samuel W., David Wallace, Horace Taylor, Winfield Scott, Matilda V. and Martha M.. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 28 on August 12th, 1874.-
