William W. was born in May 1846 in Madison Co.,AR.1 William W.'s father was John Hugh Findley Rev. and his mother was Melinda Terry. His maternal grandparents were William Terry and Barbara Ennis. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Wesley, Martin Alexander, James B., Thomas Harvey, Hester Ann, Martha Matilda, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Ellen and Sarah Nevada. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.-
