Martin Alexander was born about 1851 in Madison Co.,AR.1 Martin Alexander's father was John Hugh Findley Rev. and his mother was Melinda Terry. His maternal grandparents were William Terry and Barbara Ennis. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William W., John Wesley, James B., Thomas Harvey, Hester Ann, Martha Matilda, Mary Elizabeth, Margaret Ellen and Sarah Nevada. He was the third youngest of the ten children.-
