Richard was born about 1064 in Of,Meules,Normandy,France. Richard's father was Baldwin FITZGILBERT [Seigneur of Meu [Seigneur and his mother was Emma (Auberee). His paternal grandparents were Gilbert "Crispin" Count De BRIONNE and Gunnora D'AUNOU. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, Robert, Roger De and Adelise. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died in 1136 in Sp. He was buried on June 25th, 1137 in Abbey,FORD,Devonshire,England.
