Marie Cormier

Marie was born on May 12th, 1686 in Port Royal, Acadie.¹ Marie's father was Thomas Cormier and her mother was Madeleine Gerauard. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Cormier and Marie Peraud; her maternal grandparents were Francois Girouard and Jeanne Aucoin. She had a brother named Alexis. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 62 in 1748.¹

‌Marie and Jean Baptiste were married in a religious ceremony in 1708.¹ They had three sons and three daughters, named Joseph, Pierre, Jean Baptiste, Marguerite, Marie Angelique and Anne.
