Jacob Van Wert 
Jacob was born in November 1761 in Phillipsburgh, Tarrytown, New York and his baptism took place on November 5th, 1761 in Dutch Reformed Church, Philipburgh, Westcheshire Co. New York. Jacob's father was Jacob Van Wart and his mother was Leya Acker. His paternal grandparents were Jogahim Van Weert and Crestena de Vaux; his maternal grandparents were Siber Acker and Aeltie de Ronda. He had five brothers and a sister, named Isaac, William, Abraham, Garret, John and Maritie. He died at the age of 76 on February 7th, 1838 in Kings County, n.B..
