William Young 
William was born on November 14th, 1818 in ,Fayette County,KY.1 William's father was James Rankin Young and his mother was Elizabeth Ryman. His paternal grandparents were John Young and Mary Rankin. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named John Ryman, Lawson, Preston, James C., Thomas, Samuel Davis, Archibald, Robert, Joseph, Mary and Sarah Rachel. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 in 1900 in Ellsworth,,KS.1 -
