Laura was born on February 11th, 1888. Laura's father was Mathias E Young and her mother was Mary Ann Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Robert B Young and Mary Jane Stewart; her maternal grandparents were William LEE and Sally AMOS. She had three brothers and nine sisters, named Charles, Harry R, Fred, Luretta, Effie, Elizabeth, Della, May, Eva, Gertrude, Irene and Ethyl. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 71 on December 4th, 1959 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN.-
