James Young 
James was born in 1832 in Shelby,IN. James' father was George Washington Young and his mother was Diademia Rice. His paternal grandparents were James Young and Mary Guyn; his maternal grandparents were Jacob Rice and Catherine Higbee. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles R, John, William Coates, Catherine and Margaret. He was the oldest of the six children.
