Barton Stone was born on September 10th, 1850 in ,,MO.1 Barton Stone's father was John Ryman Young and his mother was Lucinda Burch. His paternal grandparents were James Rankin Young and Elizabeth Ryman. He had four brothers and four sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named James W., John Thomas, Henry Clay, Albert Davis, Mary Eliza, Catherine, Lucy Love, Jessamine and ?. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 34 on July 8th, 1885.-
