Mathias Augustine was born on November 24th, 1861 in Hamburg,IN. Mathias Augustine's father was Christopher Wilhelm Theising and his mother was Maria Catherine Elizabeth Menkhaus. His paternal grandparents were John Henry Christopher Theising and Maria Julianna Gertrude Klenke. He had four brothers and four sisters, named John Bernhard, Casper Henry, Frank, Matthew, Anna Lissetta, Martha, Maria Elisabeth and Catherine. He died at the age of 61 in 1922.General Notes
