Joseph Swesey 
Joseph was born in 1716 in Southold,Suffolk,New York. Joseph's father was Joseph Swayze and his mother was UNKNOWN Ann. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Swayze and Mary Betts. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, Stephen, William, Sarah, Rebecca and Abigail. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 96 on June 2nd, 1812 in Brookhaven,Suffolk,NY.-
