Rena was born on December 28th, 1884 in Rich Valley Cemetery,Cooks Run,West Shippen Twp,Cameron, PA.1 Rena's father was Franklin Elwell Sweezey and her mother was Mary Jane Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Sweezey and Elizabeth Jane Hamilton. She had a brother and two sisters, named Vere Henry, Gertrude and Myrtle. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 86 on October 23rd, 1971 in St Mary's,Elk,PA. She was buried in Rich Valley,Cooks Run,West Shippen Twp,Cameron, PA.1 1 -
