Elizia was born in 1825.¹ Elizia's father was Caleb Sweezey and her mother was ? Black. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Sweezey and UNKNOWN Nancy. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, Samuel, William and Clarrissa. She was the oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named George Washington, William, Shanon, Christina and Katherine.
