Her paternal grandparents were David SLEETH and Jane Young; her maternal grandparents were Peter MYER and Susannah BARDELL. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Helmsley Seney, Orlando Milton (Land), Alfred Clinton, William W., Clarissa Kate, Anna Eliza, Cynthia and Harriet May. She was the second oldest of the ten children.-
