Glen was born on February 7th, 1891 in Squaw Township,Warren,IA. Glen's father was James Irwin MORRIS and his mother was Prudence ROACH. His paternal grandparents were Mercer Morris and Elizabeth Taylor; his maternal grandparents were Andrew ROACH and Mary McINTOSH. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, Lindon, Ralph, Don E., Floyd Ansell, Effie, Mary Elizabeth and Blanche Ethel. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
