Samuel McClure 
Samuel was born in 1708 in ,County Donegal,Ireland. Samuel's father was Halbert McClure and his mother was UNKNOWN Agnes. His paternal grandfather was James Andrew McClure. He had four brothers and a sister, named Moses, Nathaniel, Alexander, John and Hannah. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 71 in 1779 in ,Rockbridge,VA.1 
‌Samuel and Mary Bell were married in a religious ceremony in 1736 in ,County Dongal,Ireland. They had four sons and four daughters, named Samuel, William, Alexander, Anne, Elizabeth, Hannah, Jean and Mary.
